A Templeton man has been warned today (Friday) that a jail sentence could follow after he admitted trying to make contact with two underage girls for sex.
Adam John Davies, aged 20, of Tircoed Farm, Templeton, attended a plea and case management hearing before Judge Keith Thomas at Swansea crown court.
He admitted arranging the commission of a child sex offence by agreeing to meet a girl aged 13 in May. Davies also admitted attempting to commit a similar offence, also in May.
Davies will be sentenced on September 25 after a probation officer has prepared a report into his background.
Davies was granted bail meanwhile but was warned by Judge Thomas that all sentencing options remained open, including one of immediate jail.
The court heard that Davies was already serving a community based sentence for previous, unrelated offending.
