There were long queues on the A40 in Carmarthenshire this morning following a serious collision on the road between St Clears and Carmarthen.
A tractor and a car collided near the Bancyfelin turning.
The A40 was closed both ways with the police helicopter attending.
Police directed traffic while the road was closed.
One person was airlifted to hospital.
