A PEMBROKE Dock man appeared before magistrates this morning (Tuesday) accused of stealing more than £30,000 from a local community trust.
Andrew Johnstone, aged 64, of Front Street gave no indication of plea to a charge of theft from the Pater Hall Community Trust totalling £32,940.88.
The money is alleged to have been taken sometime between October 2010 and December 2013.
The court heard that Johnstone worked as the trust’s honorary treasurer, in what was an unpaid role.
Haverfordwest Magistrates declined jurisdiction and Johnstone was bailed to appear before Swansea Crown Court on Friday, December 4.
