The Ysgol Bro Gwaun Year 7 & 8 Boys team came third at a recent Urdd Football Festival.
Twenty six pupils from Ysgol Bro Gwaun represented the school at a recent Urdd Football Festival, held at the university playing fields in Aberystwyth.
The Year 7 & 8 Boys team got off to a slow start losing their first two games but managed to recover and win their last three games to finish in a respectable third position overall.
The Year 7 & 8 Girls team won two, drew two and lost two games to finish seventh overall. In the year 9 & 10 category the YBG Girls (consisting all of Year 9s) didn't win any games but did really well to have competitive matches against girls who were, in the main, a year older than them.
The school congratulated all who took part.
