It is now time to sow and sew for a bee project that has got Cardigan town buzzing.

Knitted bees have been created by the Pendre Art knitting group as part of a project by Blooming Wild Cardigan/ Gwyllt yn Aberteifi lead by 4CG.

The woolly wonders have been hidden around the town and if found need to be taken to

the 'Bee Hospital' at Pendre Art Café. There they can be exchanged for a "bee resuscitation pack"; a full wildflower seed sowing kit, entry to a prize draw and instructions on #grewitmyselfie.

"May is the month that all plants love," said organiser Gwenda Mark. "The warm weather with intermittent rain is perfect to get the seeds germinating and growing strongly.

"So if you've already got your seeds remember this is the time to get them growing."

May also sees the sewing, knitting and crocheting of an array of flowers for the next stage of the project, a wild flowers art installation at the 4CG site in Pwllhai

Sessions to create the flower s take place at Pendre Art Café on Tuesday's between 4pm and 8pm. Wool, needles etc are supplied.
