Pembroke Dock Town council members, meeting tonight (Thursday), are to consider a two-part request for up to £3,250 in funding from the town’s regeneration group.
A request has been made for an interpretation board at the town’s railway station, expected to cost £1,500, with the regeneration group agreeing to meet half the cost.
It is hoped the pole-mounted board will tie in with the second phase of Pembroke Dock’s town trail.
A call has also been made for a “kinetic millennium” sculpture in the town, expected to cost £5,000.
The regeneration group has asked the town council for £2,500 towards the cost from an available budget of £6,000.
