THE promise of a 'taste of Pembrokeshire' brought hungry visitors out in their hundreds in Haverfordwest on Saturday.
A street market, organised as part of Haverfordwest Festival Week, saw a range of delicious local food and drink on offer on Castle Square.
There were spicy boarburgers from Trehale farm, freshly cooked pizzas from Torth y Tir, healthy treats from Healthaspire, paella from Cafe Rio, sparkling ciders from Gethin's Cyder, beers from Caffle Brewery, ice cream from Upton Farm, artisan breads from the Welsh Bakery, freshly ground coffee from Cafe Tuk Tuk, and homemade chocolates from Deb's Peace Treaties, among others.
Mayor of Haverfordwest Cllr Alan Buckfield said: "It was a marvellous event, full of very enthusiastic traders selling a range of high quality products which my wife and I enjoyed immensely.
"There was an air of vibrancy around the town, with lots of activity on the square as a result of the market and the other events taking place throughout the town.
"A lot of people told me they enjoyed seeing so much going on in Haverfordwest.
"The organisers should be congratulated on all the time and energy they put into it."
Haverfordwest Festival Week continues until Sunday.
