A chance to take a tour of Tenby's historic town walls is on offer as part of a forthcoming Welsh heritage event. Four different sections of the 13th Century walls that aren't usually open to the public will be accessible in a guided visit on Wednesday September 28 as part of the Welsh Government's Open Doors programme. The walls are amongst more than 300 of Wales' most iconic and unusual properties that have signed up to this year's Open Doors, which celebrates Wales' Year of Adventure. Funded and organised by Cadw, the Welsh Government's historic environment service, Open Doors is the largest volunteer event in the heritage sector in Wales. In Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, the following properties will be open as part of the scheme. Entry is free with advance booking required in some cases.
