A Pembrokeshire woman has today admitted dangerous driving and three counts of putting the safety of children at risk.

Louise Davies, aged 40, of Laws Street, Pembroke Dock is being held in custody at Eastwood Park women’s prison near Bristol.

Today, she appeared at Swansea crown court via a video link to admit driving a Dacia Sandero dangerously between London Road, Pembroke Dock, and Carmarthen on August 16.

Davies also admitted three charges of cruelty to children by exposing them to unnecessary suffering and risk to their safety.

Judge Paul Thomas said the case “cries out” for a psychiatric report and Davies will be sentenced in December.

Judge Thomas described the offending as “unusual if not bizarre” and said Davies had behaved strangely.

He also instructed a probation officer to prepare a report into Davies’ background before the sentencing hearing.
