Yarn bombers in Haverfordwest have weaved up a knitmare on Quay Street with dozens of spooktacular woolly designs.

The group has knitted a range of pumpkins, ghosts and witches to decorate the town in the lead up to Halloween.

The yarn bombers strung together their designs early on Sunday morning to bring some colour into town as the days shorten.

A member of the group said: “It’s taken about three months to prepare at a cost of over £600.

“We do this to make people laugh and bring people into town. We’ve had phenomenal feedback which all makes it worthwhile.”

The group began meeting once a month but became hooked and now meets every Wednesday.

All exhibits are available to purchase.

Due to the high workload, there will be no Christmas yarn bombing in Haverfordwest this year.
