A BROKEN-down lorry, a car accident, and a bus stuck across the middle of the road caused heavy traffic delays this morning.
The A40 into Haverfordwest was closed both ways, due to a two-vehicle accident around 7.30am between between A4075 / B4314 (Canaston Bridge Roundabout) and A4076 (Scotchwell Roundabout), with police directing traffic.
The road had been shut since 6.45am, after a lorry was stranded in the middle of the road, broken down.
At 6.47am, Dyfed Powys-Police tweeted:

The road was reopend at 8am following recovery of the vehicle.
A bus, blocking the road between the Cardigan Road roundabout and Fishguard roundabout (Day's), then caused further delays for commuters.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: “Police attended a report of a bus broken down between Scotchwell and Withybush at 8.50am this morning, Wednesday, March 29.
"The road was clear by 9am.”
