Two Haverfordwest men have been cleared of allegations that they assaulted and then kidnapped a former friend.
Samuel Riley-Poku, aged 39, and 31 year old King Osei-Wusu, both of Peregrine Close, were said to have bundled Daniel Decku into the boot of a car.
Then, said Ian Wright, prosecuting at Swansea crown court, they dumped him near naked in the countryside near Narberth.
Riley-Poku and Osei-Wusu denied kidnapping Mr Decku on January 24 and taking him away by force, and assaulting Mr Decku on the same occasion.
After a trial at Swansea crown court they were found not guilty unanimously.
Both maintained that Mr Decku had climbed into Riley-Poku's car willingly and that he had run away from them without explanation.
Following the verdicts Judge Geraint Walters ordered the release from custody of Riley-Poku.
But Dyfed Thomas, the barrister representing Osei-Wusu, said his client would remain in custody as the Immigration Service "wanted a word with him."
