Man charged with robbery of Pembroke Dock betting shop
A Pembroke Dock man has appeared in court accused of robbing a local betting shop on Monday.
Alan John Brookes, 36, of Bush Street, appeared from custody at Haverfordwest magistrates on Wednesday morning.
He faces a charge of robbing Betfred bookmakers, in Dimond Street, Pembroke Dock, on Monday afternoon, August 21.
The court heard that the allegation was so serious that it could only be dealt with by a judge and jury at crown court.
No pleas were entered, and Brookes was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Swansea Crown Court on September 22.
