A MAN was arrested for suspected drug dealing, and five others are being dealt with for drug offences, following a recent Dyfed-Powys Police day of action.

Throughout October 10’s #totalfocus day of action, a number of planned activities took place, including action to target drug-related harm through the execution of 10 warrants.

Four drugs warrants were executed in north Pembrokeshire, with one of these proving positive.

The male occupant of a property in Freemans View, Haverfordwest was arrested for possession with intent to supply, with officers locating 60 deals of cannabis at the address, along with a further bag containing 72.8grammes of loose leaf.

Six warrants were executed in the south, with five, in the Pembroke Dock area, proving positive.

White powder was located at an address in Spring View; herbal cannabis at an address in Chapel Row, Llanreath; cannabis at an address in Brewery St, and a male and female were found in possession of herbal cannabis at a property in Albion Court.

Arrangements will be made for the occupants to be interviewed by police.

A quantity of tobacco/cannabis mix was located within the property in Wellington Street. A female was issued with a cannabis warning.

Chief Inspector Mark McSweeney said the day of action “was about targeting those who take advantage of the most vulnerable in our society”.

He added: “I would encourage anyone with any information or concerns in relation to drug misuse to contact us, and reassure everyone that any such information will be acted upon.

“Tackling drugs is a priority and drug misuse will not be tolerated, we take positive action to disrupt the supply and use of such substances.”
