LONG overdue plans for the improvement of Milford Haven town centre should either be made a reality or scrapped Pembrokeshire County Council has heard.
Plans to construct a Piazza outside the Torch theatre in Milford Haven were discussed at PCC's latest full council meeting as part of the council improvement review, with Cllr Guy Woodham saying that the plans should be carried out before anymore money is spent on designs.
"Are we going to continue asking for reports and never implementing these decisions?" he asked the council cabinet.
Paul Miller, cabinet member for planning agreed with Cllr Woodham saying: "There is no point to allocating money to a development function without achieving things.
"We either give it money to make a difference to our town centres or shut it down. I will not preside over an administration that pretends to help with regeneration."
The council voted to approve and adopt the improvement review's full recommendations.
