Penny-pinching builder Ieuan Butler is celebrating this week after being crowned Britain's biggest skinflint after taking part in a reality television programme.
Channel 4's The Hunt for Britain's Tightest Person scoured the country exploring what happens when money saving spins into madness.
Ieuan was the youngest person to be featured in, a search for the country's most dedicated scrooge, on Friday night.
The father of five from Crymych, who also has two stepchildren, took the title of Britain's penny pincher.
The 42-year-old can make up to five cups of tea from one tea-bag and gaffer-tapes his boots to make them last long past their natural life, but he describes himself as "very careful" rather than a scrooge.
His girlfriend of five years, Ruth, won't live with him because of his stinginess, despite the couple having a young daughter together.
Programme makers were intrigued by his ways and presented him with the practical gift of gaffer-tape when he was announced the winner, and gave Ruth a bouquet of flowers.
