A bonfire on Tenby's South Beach was extinguished by the town's fire brigade last night (Wednesday).
Old fence posts and other rubbish had been dragged onto the beach and set alight. Coastguards alerted the police to the blaze, who in turn called the fire service.
The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel jet.
