Fishguard coastguard rescue team and both the town's lifeboats took part in a massive search for a missing dog last night (Monday).
Dudley the dog was reported missing by his local owners at 8.20pm. They had been walking with him on the coast path out of Harbour Village when after about half an hour Dudley disappeared.
His owners were worried that the missing mutt had fallen off the cliffs so they contacted the emergency services. Fishguard coastguards searched the coast, while the lifeboats scoured the sea and the cliffs.
After around half an hour Dudley the disappeared dog was found safe and well, if a little cold, on the path near to Penanglas. Coastguards returned him to his delighted owners.
