Police appeal follows Haverfordwest racially aggravated assaults

Police in Haverfordwest are appealing for information, following allegations of two racially aggravated assaults in the town during the last ten days.

Between 2am and 2.30am last Sunday, March 14th, a 24-year-old man was assaulted, and sustained minor injuries , near Matisse in Victoria Place, Haverfordwest.

An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated assault, and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

In a separate and unrelated incident a week earlier, at around 11:40am on March 7th, police were called to Dew St, Haverfordwest, to a report of an ongoing disturbance.

Police said that five men were verbally abused, and that three of those men were assaulted, sustaining minor injuries, during the incident.

Four men, three 25-year-olds and one 23-year-old, were arrested following the incident on suspicion of racially aggravated assault. They have been bailed pending further enquiries and the investigation is ongoing.
