Tenby neighbourhood policing team are warning people to clear up their dog's mess or get fined.
The team have received numerous complaints regarding dogs fouling in Tenby and Saundersfoot.
Neighbourhood Police Officer in Tenby, PC Trish Dixon, said: “Residents have seen an increase in dog fouling over the last few months.
“Owners have a responsibility to clean up after their dogs, if they don’t they can be fined £70.
“All the PCSOs in Pembrokeshire have been issued with fixed penalty notices for this offence and we will be issuing them to irresponsible owners.
"We would also ask that anybody who witnesses someone not picking up after their pet to contact the neighbourhood policing team or their area or the dog warden."

kids using te beaches can go blind from the toxacara found in faeces
I also wish these stupid owners would control their dogs - the last half term a few weeks ago I was attacked TWICE on the beach by dogs - once on south beach and once in Penally - Monday two dog owners almost came to blows after one owners dog attacked the dog that was playing quietly with his ball on south beach
PS I am a dog owner but wouldn't dream of allowing my dog to make a mess or be out of control
