Ludchurch Horse and Dog Show could hang up its rosettes

A Pembrokeshire village show looks set to come to an end unless new organisers are found.

The Ludchurch Horse and Dog Show has been run by a committee for the past 12 years, but now they want to call it a day.

Said one member, Jane Bell:

"The committee members, whilst having thoroughly enjoyed the last twelve years, now wish to retire and, having failed to generate any interest from people wishing to continue, there is little option but to finish. It is a great shame, as there are so few of these smaller village shows left on the calendar and the loss of another is regrettable.".

She added: "We thank all the exhibitors who have supported the show over the years -horses, dogs and humans - and the sponsors, judges and stewards without whom we would not have been able to operate.".
