A date has been set for a five day public inquiry into a development in Newport, which was branded an “eyesore” by objectors.
Bettws Newydd, a large replacement dwelling on the Parrog which angered a number of locals, appeared to have been built bigger than the agreed 2006 plans, and in the wrong place on the site.
Owner Nolan Nicholas is appealing to the planning inspectorate against the refusal of retrospective planning permission, and an enforcement notice relating to an alleged breach of planning control, issued by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park earlier this year.
The inquiry will take place in the Memorial Hall, Newport, on October 20th, 21st, 22nd, 26th and 27th, starting at 10am.
