A new appeal for information about the mysterious disappearance of a 24-year-old man in Tenby seven years ago is being made today (Monday) on the anniversary of his last sighting.

James Nutley was on a golfing trip with friends from Caldicot in Gwent when he was last seen on CCTV on Sunday October 24th, 2004, He had left a Tenby pub at 11.40pm and at 11.57pm was spotted on film crossing the Esplanade from the beach side towards the pavement by the Atlantic Hotel.

But he never returned to join his fellow golfers at the Giltar Hotel, and despite extensive searches and appeals, no trace of him has been found.

The CCTV footage showing James on the Esplanade also shows six people walking along the pavement, some 10 to 15 metres away.

Janet Evans of the charity Missing Wales said: "In 2004, were you one of the six people returning to your hotel at six minutes to midnight? It was wet and blowing a gale; there's just the chance that you remember seeing a young man walking close to you."

James is 6ft 2ins tall with brown hair, and was last seen wearing a white top with blue sleeves and blue jeans. Anyone with information can call Missing Wales freephone on 08000 12 17 17.
