You have until tomorrow (Friday) to sample the talent of secondary school art students from Pembrokeshire schoos, showcased at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery.
Entitled Pembrokeshire’s Best, the exhibition was sponsored by Valero which enabled the works to be framed and a total of £700 prize money to be offered.
Sir Thomas Picton School picked up the first prize of £400 for The Lock by Rhiannon Price. Second prize of £200 went to Tasker Milward School for Imperfection by Sara Perry, while Origami Swan by Rhiannon Stephens won the third prize of £100 for Milford Haven School.
Highly commended were: Playthings of a Generation by Fleur Rampton (Ysgol Bro Gwaun); Ode to Da Vinci by Eden Wey (Sir Thomas Picton School); Untitled by Dylan Roberts (Greenhill School) and Ghosts of Porthgain by Tara Hale (Ysgol Dewi Sant).
The winning schools were presented with their prizes by Valero’s integration manager, Andrew Pouton, who opened the exhibition.
He congratulated the staff and students of the schools on the high standard of work that had been produced, which had given the four judges a difficult – although enjoyable – task.
The museum is open from Monday to Friday, and all local children are admitted free to the exhibition.
