Fishguard all weather lifeboat (ALB) was launched this morning (Friday) to the aid of a fishing vessel with steering problems.
The small fishing boat, with four people onboard, ran into difficulties 13 miles out of Fishguard at around 6am.
The ALB established a tow and bought the vessel safely back to Fishguard Harbour. Returning to the lifeboat shed at around 10am.
This is the fourth fishing boat the lifeboat has been called out to help in just under a week.
A coastguard spokesman said that the amount of rescues reflected the high level of fishing activity in the Cardigan Bay area at the moment.
