Teen badly injured in assault after disco

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 15-year-old boy was badly beaten following an end of exam disco at Reload nightclub, Haverfordwest.

The teenager was attacked by a group of between eight and ten boys of a similar age. He sustained a badly swollen left eye and face as well as numerous scratches and lumps on his head and body.

The boy was punched and kicked numerous times on the steps leading down to the pound shop at the end of the bridge on Picton Place.

“It is believed that a large group of youths were at the scene and witnessed the assault,” said PC 1163 Furnival.

“They are encouraged to come forward with information to help police enquiries.”

The incident happened at about 11pm on Thursday June 28th.
