Lifeboat launched to "swimmers in trouble"

Tenby’s all weather lifeboat, the Haydn Miller, launched yesterday (Sunday), after Milford Haven coastguards received reports of two people cut off at Skrinkle Haven.

As soon as the lifeboat arrived in the area, it launched its Y boat with two volunteer crew onboard. Both lifeboats then searched the area.

Two divers were soon located close in to the rocks, they were spear fishing and not in any difficulty.

The lifeboat escorted the divers back to the beach where they were met by Tenby coastguards.
