After being stopped for more than a week production will restart at Chevron's Pembroke refinery today.
A spokesman for the company said: "Following the successful restart of the steam plant at the Pembroke refinery, Chevron can confirm that production is expected to resume later today and over the next few days, this will increase to normal rates.
"Inspections have continued throughout the process to ensure that production restarts safely.

"By managing our existing stocks at our refinery and terminals and sourcing additional supplies, we are continuing to supply our contracted UK and Ireland customers with all grades of fuel."
Production was stopped when an electrical fault shutdown the steam plant on Tuesday, April 29th.
