An 18-year-old who fell two floors on the Isle of Innishmore Ferry last last Sunday has died of his injuries in hospital.
Liam Robert Murphy from Taghoat, Rosslare, was travelling to Pembroke Dock with his mother on May 4th.
He fell from deck 11 to deck nine of the vessel where he was found unconscious. The ferry was about half way down the Haven when the incident occurred.
Because of bad weather the rescue helicopter was not launched and it was decided to wait for the ferry to dock before evacuating the casualty. A nurse onboard the ferry tended to the teenager.

Paramedics and coastguards stabilised the casualty before placing him on a body board and taking him off the boat to an awaiting ambulance.
The teenager was transferred from Withybush to the neuro intensive care unit in Morriston, Swansea, where he died on Friday.
Swansea coroner, Philip Rogers, confirmed the teenager's death and said that the inquest will open tomorrow.
