Two Pembrokeshire performers were at the Royal Albert Hall last weekend to entertain capacity audiences at the BBC Blue Peter Proms that took place on Saturday and Sunday.
Connie Fisher, from Hayscastle, who is starring in the Sound of Music at the London Palladium, wowed the crowds by singing My Favourite Things accompanied by children's choirs from London, while former Greenhill School pupil Sita Thomas, from Tenby, danced with Honey Kalaria's Bollywood dance troupe to live music from the Bollywood Brass Band.
"Performing at the Royal Albert Hall has been an incredible experience," said Sita.
"There were about 5,500 people in the audience, mostly families.
"They really loved our performance, and at the end they all joined in and had a go at some Bhangra moves. It was amazing."
Sita, who is studying A-Levels at boarding school in Surrey, joined Honey's Dance Academy in September. Pembrokeshire will host the troupe, which specialises in Bollywood and Bhangra styles, at the end of the summer, when it makes a one-off appearance at Pembroke Festival International Dance Evening on September 1st.
