BJP MARTS reports: The monthly Hosltein South Wales Club show and sale bulked up the entries, with good quality throughout.

Show honours went to Robert and Diane Evans, Derimoelion with Deri Topshot Diana, which also sold for the top price of the day £3150 to Gatrog Holsteins. The reserve champion heifer was Tregibby Rosina Beacon from Tergibby Holsteins, selling for £3000 to the Penyback Herd of R. T. Richards, Llandyfaelog.

DAI LEWIS Auctioneers reports: Increased entries in all sections, including the first new season lambs. The high quality of hoggets was evident, with averages sustaining excellent prices throughout. There was fierce bidding for store lambs, which were also of a high quality, reaching respectable prices. The quality of ewes again did not disappoint.
