A PEMBROKESHIRE couple are celebrating success at the Royal Welsh Spring Festival.
After taking the Tamworth breed championship, Allan and Sharron Nicholas’ homebred sow Fairybank Melody 2 (Martha to her friends) went on to be named supreme champion in the interbreed championship.
Keeping it in the family, Martha's daughter Fairybank Melody 16 was reserve Tamworth champion.
Allan and Sharron, of Pleasant View, Cold Blow, Narberth also have a holding at Fairybank, Clynderwen, and have been showing their rare breed Tamworths since 2012.
