Farmers in north Pembrokeshire have been making their voice heard on important issues affecting the industry.
Representatives of the Farmers’ Union of Wales met Welsh secretary Stephen Crabb near Llanfyrnach to discuss issues including the dairy crisis, and bovine TB.
Mr Crabb said: “There is no question that agriculture is an essential backbone to the Pembrokeshire economy and it is vital that the sector remains strong. We talked about some key concerns particularly low milk prices, the power of supermarkets and the ongoing problem of TB in cattle.”
The Preseli Pembrokeshire MP says he will now follow up a number of points with his ministerial colleagues in Westminster and also the Welsh Government.
