Dai Lewis Auctioneers reports: Another good entry in all sections (1,569). New season lambs saw a more selective trade, as did hoggetts and culls, but demand was brisk throughout. Ewe and lamb couples sold to a fluid run.

J. J. Morris reports: Another large entry in all sections with a fast trade throughout.

There was a special entry of 39 organic dairy cows from Jenkins and Rees, Trefere Fawr, Penparc, which averaged more than £1,750.

There was a mixed quality of store cattle and more than 70 barren cows which saw a fast trade. Calves again sold to a brisk trade.

Once again there were 850 sheep, hoggetts were slightly easier to the previous week, and cull ewes followed a similar trend.

BJP and Co reports: Store cattle (188): Exceptional quality cattle, with top prices of £825 for 24 month old Limousin steers from Jenkins, Lower House, Spittal. Best heifer was also a Limousin selling for £758 from Owen, East Nolton.

Calves (42): A better entry of calves with a top price of £178 for a Limousin bull and £120 for a Limousin heifer sold by Morris, Parcynole.
