PEMBROKESHIRE police are warning drivers that it is an offence to park their vehicle obstructing a drop kerb.
Obstructing a drop kerb can cause problems for wheelchair users and people with prams or shopping trolleys and motorists can face a £30 fixed penalty notice.
Temporary Chief Inspector Russell Smith said: "Following a recent meeting of the Pembrokeshire Access Group concerns were raised regarding drivers obstructing drop kerbs.
"The majority of drivers are probably unaware of the disruption this causes to wheel chair users and other members of the public.
"We would like to remind people that this is an offence which results in a £30 fixed penalty notice and will be enforcing this as and when we can."
