Pembrokeshire Tourism is launching the very first tourism awards for Pembrokeshire to celebrate the achievements in the county's largest domestic industry.

The awards are open to everyone and will reward and celebrate all the best aspects of tourism in Pembrokeshire, while also encouraging and inspiring other tourism businesses.

The event will bring together some of the most successful and innovative tourism business people in the county.

Rachel Hicks, chief executive of Pembrokeshire Tourism, said: "More people in Pembrokeshire work in tourism than any other sector, apart from oil.

"This is our chance, for the very first time to dedicate a whole night to everyone who works so hard.

"Pembrokeshire Tourism is thrilled to be hosting the awards, which will be a great chance to get your business seen as well as rewarded."

The black tie event will be held on May 16th at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock.

Guests are welcome to attend a drinks reception followed by a four-course dinner of the finest Pembrokeshire produce, before the awards ceremony takes place.
