A former hospital radiologist living in Neyland Marina appeared before a crown court judge today accused of making and possessing child pornography.

Dr Charles Gordon Bartlett, aged 54, denied 18 charges of making child porn between April 2003 and April 2007.

Bartlett, who at the time worked for the Carmarthenshire NHS Trust, also denied one collective charge of possessing 799 indecent images of children.

Bartlett, who formerly lived at The Croft Ferryside, is now living on a boat at Neyland Yacht Haven.

He was granted bail by Judge Keith Thomas at Swansea crown court and will appear in court again on July 11th when a judge is expected to fix a date for his trial.
