Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are due to visit Pembrokeshire today, stopping off at St Davids Cathedral and Solva Woollen Mill as part of their summer tour of Wales.

The royal couple will be treated to a short choral recital in the cathedral before going on to view the restored cloisters and meet those involved in the cloisters restoration project. The couple will also visit the building's newly refurbished refectory and meet fundraisers, friends of cathedral and engineers who carried out the restoration work as well as unveiling a plaque.

The couple will also visit Solva Woollen Mill where rugs specially commissioned for their home in Llwynywermod are being made.

The Prince has ordered three woollen floor rugs from the mill, two in traditional Welsh check design, and one will be dyed in a colour of his choice.

The royal couple will see their rugs woven on the loom as well as taking in an exhibition on the history of the mill.

Anna Grime, who runs the mill with husband Tom, said that they were "absolutely thrilled" to be hosting royalty.

"For him to come to see our little mill is unbelievable," she said "It's really exciting. I'm over the moon."
