Dear Editor - I was surprised to read about the transformation the county's towns have undergone with the help of lottery funding.
Apparently Pembroke Dock has benefited hugely, but where is the improvement?
Pembroke Dock looks run down, sad and deprived. Roads and pavements are old and patched up. Shops are closing down and many buildings are boarded up. The town clock has not been changed from the wintertime, a sign of apathy of whoever is in charge.

Some parts of the town look like a bombsite, in particular outside of St Govan's Centre, and rubbish on the way to Tesco is horrendous.
Council tax has gone up, but Pembroke Dock seems to be on the bottom of the list when it comes to improvements.
