VOLUNTEERS from the Friends of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park collected a truck-load of rubbish at a litter pick at Freshwater West.
Working with the National Trust warden, the group were tasked with clearing the area known as the Gumpton Flags above the beach at Freshwater West.
They cleared hundreds of pieces of windblown plastic caught on fences and brambles in the fields. Several acres were cleared.
Work party leader Alan Mason said: "The team worked tirelessly on a tedious but very rewarding task, which resulted in the beautiful backdrop to Freshwater West being restored to its natural state for visitors to this wonderful area of our National Park to enjoy."
