PEMBROKESHIRE Woodturners will be sharing and showing their wood craft to visitors at Colby Woodland garden this Sunday (July 20) from 10am till 4.30pm.
The group is always keen to attract new members, aiming to to foster friendship amongst woodturners in the area and to impart knowledge and expand the craft of woodturning.
The woodturners proved to be very popular with visitors to Colby when they attended the first Story of Wood event in May and on Sunday, will be bringing along their lathes to craft a variety of useful and decorative pieces with wood from Colby.
. There will be an opportunity to make purchases and visitors can also visit the Pembrokeshire Craft maker’s exhibition upstairs in the gallery open all day, where a wide range of art and crafts are on sale.
Forthcoming organised activities coming up at Colby from July 23 will include twilight walks and pond and wildlife activities, with The Story of Wood returning on September 20 and 21
