THE Post Office has confirmed its decision to move Tegryn Post Office from its current location a short distance away to Canolfan Clydau Community building.

The new branch will open as a Hosted Outreach service and the date of opening will be confirmed soon.

Post Office Field Change Advisor, Gaynor Davies, said: “I am delighted to confirm a new location for Post Office services to our customers in Tegryn.

“We understand how important having continued access to Post Office services is to residents in the area and we are confident that this new service, hosted from a community building, will make it easier for our customers to do business with us and also secure services for the future.”

Ms Davies, added: “The changes to the branch are part of a major investment programme to 2018, the largest in the history of the Post Office, that will see over 8000 branches (about two thirds of the Post Office network) converting to new-style branches. The investment marks a commitment to no more branch closure programmes.”

Opening hours at the new location will be 9am to 12pm on Monday and Wednesday. Customers will be able to carry out a wide range of Post Office services including cash withdrawal services from partner banks and Post Office card account, access to Post Office Financial and Travel services, as well as mail services.
