ST DOGMAELS is preparing to hold its first village show next month, with something to keep the whole family entertained.

The event takes place on Saturday, September 13 at the Abbey and St Thomas’ Church Hall.

A wide range of classes are being offered in produce, flowers and plants, floral art, cookery, wine, beer and cider, photography, arts and crafts, together with classes for children, schools and groups.

There are even fun classes for the family dog.

Entries are being accepted from Saturday, September 6 at St Thomas’ Church Hall between 9am and 12pm. Entry forms are available for download in the show schedule.

The show’s organisers are keen for everyone to get involved by entering a class or two. But if submitting an entry is too daunting, anyone is welcome to visit the show which will open its doors to the public at 1.30pm. Admission is free.

There will also be market stalls and a raffle with some great prizes. All classes, except the dog show will be under cover, so the show promises to be a fun day out whatever the weather.
