ON Sunday, November 23 a newly formed theatre group performed its first show in front of 250 people at Letterston Memorial hall.

Collaboration is made up of 22 people between the ages of 12 and 18 years. It is run by 19 year-old Jen Biddle, who has enjoyed success with other groups.

The young performers were joined on stage in Letterston by musical star Peter Karrie, who has played the lead role in shows such as Les Miserables, Oliver! and is best known for his portrayal of the phantom in Phantom of the Opera.

Peter joined the group for two rehearsals and the show was very well received by the audience.

Collaboration was formed at the end of September and the youngsters have already rubbed shoulders with the stars of the business. They recently met the cast of Westenders, joining them in a sound check and a question and answer session.
