HAVERFORDWEST Town Council has spent 2014 busily working away for the good of the county town and its residents, and 2015 will be no different.
Under the committed leadership of Mayor Councillor Roy Thomas, the organisation has been keeping a keen watch on issues affecting the locality and doing what it can, when it can. From lobbying Pembrokeshire County Council to take action on “eyesore” derelict buildings affecting the look of Haverfordwest and objecting to planning applications that could adversely affect locals, to running competitions and making donations to local good causes, the Town Council takes its role of serving its area extremely seriously.
“I would like the residents of Haverfordwest to know that we are here for them, and if they have any issues about the town they should give us a call,” said Roy. “I can’t promise to be able to solve every problem, but I will always do my best to try and get some sort of positive outcome.”
He also wished all his constituents a “very happy New Year”.
