Dyffryn Fernant (picture attached) On Friday 17 April, Dyffryn Fernant will be opening its doors for free in honour of the first National Gardens Open Day. On this day visitors to some of the UK’s most beautiful gardens, will get a taste of how horticulture can enrich their lives. For full details about events during National Gardening Week, visit www.nationalgardeningweek.org.uk National Gardening Week was launched four years ago by the Royal Horticultural Society and since then it has grown into the country’s biggest celebration of gardening. Thousands of people, gardens, charities, retailers, culture and heritage organisations and groups get involved and this year there are more than 200 events taking place across the UK. During National Gardening Week, Dyffryn Fernant will be encouraging visitors to make the most of the beautiful gardens on their doorstep, and be inspired to try their hand at gardening at home.

Dyffryn Fernant is naturalistic in its planting as well as exotic and stylised in parts. The wide variety of environments and the abundance of sitting places invite you to take your time and to investigate this place from different angles, from different perspectives, to bring your own beliefs, thoughts and feelings to your experience of the garden.
