PEMBROKE Dock Mayor Peter Kraus was recently invited to give a talk to Pembroke Dock Girl Guides about the role of being mayor and what is involved.

Following the October 21 talk, Cllr Kraus said: “The evening went very well and I tried to give the 13 young ladies present as good an account as possible of how to be a mayor and everything that goes with it, it was amazing how interested they were.

“After my talk, came question time, and I was bombarded, it was great to hear such a variety of questions, as the evening came to a close asked if everyone was happy with the way the evening went and I had a big fat yes; that was good enough for me. We are now going to keep in contact in the future.”
