CONCERNS have been raised about National Trust beauty spot Stackpole being used as a dumping ground by fly tippers.
Rangers have recently collected a truck full of discarded PC equipment and other material, and also a trailer full of tarmac.
National Trust’s Stackpole Manager Mike Greenslade said: “We are very disappointed that the Stackpole Estate has been used as a fly-tipping site. Our rangers have had to remove a number of items that were discarded on this beautiful landscape, including computer equipment and a pile of tarmac.
“The National Trust team works very hard to safeguard Stackpole so that everyone can enjoy this special place.
“Fly-tipping is not only dangerous for our visitors, but is detrimental to the wildlife that calls the estate home. We will be working with the police to identify and prosecute those responsible.”
