A HAPPY evening of traditional Celtic music, from up- beat jigs and reels to slow airs and waltzes is on offer at a Cystic Fibrosis fundraising ceilidh at Haverfordwest Rugby Club on Saturday February 6.

The Caper Ceilidh Band is a three piece fiddle, concertina and guitar-driven band which has long provided Celtic music for events across West Wales

Fiddle player Polly is back from a recent tour of Germany, and regularly performs throughout Wales, while Mandy has played concertina for more than 30 years, cutting her teeth in sessions across Wales while Ant – the guitar player of the trio – has been a central figure in Pembrokeshire sessions for the past 26 years.

The event is the most recent fundraiser in the Pembrokeshire Cystic Fibrosis branch programme for 2016. Doors open at 7.30. Tickets £10 include food and are available by ringing 01437 899915.
