PEMBROKE Ladies Probus Club recently held its AGM at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel.

The outgoing president Dawn Homfray thanked the committee and members for their support during her year of office and treated the 58 members to a PowerPoint presentation put together with the help of her husband Ken.

There were reminders of guest speakers, the visit to Celtic Manor and many other memorable moments captured in the presentation.

This novel way of reflecting on the past year was well received and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Dawn was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a basket of fruit and thanked for her hard work during a successful year.

The new officers and committee were installed with Jennifer Gorman taking up the mantle of president for the coming year. This was followed by a lovely two course meal, coffee and then there was an opportunity to indulge in the camaraderie for which the club is becoming renowned.

The club is looking forward to another year of informative, entertaining speakers and forging new friendships.
